Todays post is going to be all about the morning! Here are 5 steps you should include in your morning routine for a better day!

Drink water

We ALL know that this is important. It helps your body flush out toxins and is super refreshing. Not to mention it’s great for your hair skin and nails! Drinking water on an empty stomach helps purify your colon making it easier to absorb nutrients. Drinking chilled water in the morning can help boost your metabolism by 24%!

Eat a proper breakfast

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day! Either bacon and eggs or pancakes or croissants, as long as coffee is involved, I’m happy! If you don’t have time to make breakfast every morning then make it the night before, over night oats is all ways a good option, it’s really easy to make and very nutritious!

Stretch

These past few months I have been stretching when I wake up in the morning, it really relaxes you and helps get rid of any tight or sore muscles that may be caused by stress or exercise.

Write a to-do list

I like to write a to-do list in the morning so I can clear my mind. If I don’t I have a million things spinning around my mind, if I write it all down, I can get everything out and have a relaxing morning. It also helps me to plan my day and allows me to see what I have to get done.

Get inspired

I know a lot of people like to have a “tech free” morning BUT I like to look through Instagram and Pinterest to get inspired. If it’s for outfit inspiration or breakfast recipes or for something fun to do on the weekend or even to just look at beautiful pictures. It gets me excited and ready for the day a head!
